Bayou Labs is a web design studio in Houston, Texas. We design, write, and host websites for local small businesses for free, usually live within 7 days. Optional paid plans cover ongoing edits ($59/month), local SEO ($349/month), and custom builds.

Is the website really free? What's the catch?

Really free. We're a new Houston studio and would rather prove our work than pitch it. You get a real website; we get a portfolio piece and, if you love it, a referral. There's no card, no contract, and hosting stays free.

How do you make money, then?

Some owners want ongoing help after launch: edits, new pages, local SEO, or something custom like online booking. Those are paid, optional, and you can cancel anytime. Plenty of people never pay us a dime, and that's fine.

What do I need to give you?

About 10 minutes for our form: your business name, what you do, where you work, and any photos or logo you have. We write the words and handle everything else.

How fast is it?

You'll see a preview within 72 hours of sending your info and can be live within 7 days. If we miss that, your first 3 months of the Care Plan are on us.

What if I don't like it?

Tell us what to change; two rounds of revisions before launch are included. If you still don't love it, walk away. You owe nothing, and you can keep the copy we wrote for you.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. If you already own one, we connect it for free. If you don't, you can buy one for about $12 a year and we'll set it up.

Who owns the website?
